Woman dies in Big Dig tunnel
A 40-foot section of ceiling came crashing down on a husband and wife last night in one of the underground tunnel sections of Route 90 East in South Boston that connects the Ted Williams Tunnel to the rest of the Massachusetts Turnpike.The woman, according to this Globe article, was killed and the husband had to crawl out a window. The easy thing for me to write would be, "I knew it would happen." And, perhaps, that's even a roundabout way of writing it.
For right now, though, I'm going to pray for the family, and try to find another way to work.
