Rainy Driving
Today is a rainy day, and I am glad I don't have to go out. Rain makes people stupid.In the year leading up to my own endeavor to learn how to drive, I had someone give me a sincere piece of wisdom. He said that people's IQ goes down by one-third in the rain and by one-half in the snow. I believe this to be true based on my own observation in the years since.
If there is one thing I can count on is double the normal traffic on Route 93 through Boston, my main connector between work and home, on any day that has rain. I don't know why. It's just rain. That's all. I can't explain the phenomenon, but see if you notice it yourself. |
